They renamed Gampel
UConn’s Board of Trustees just approved a naming-rights deal, and Gampel Pavilion is now officially the “M&T Bank Center at Gampel Pavilion.”
M&T Bank can buy the sign. They can’t buy the memories. This is where Ray Allen, Rip Hamilton, Diana Taurasi and Breanna Stewart played their home games. Where the dynasty was built. It’s Gampel. It’s always going to be Gampel.
